DESCRIPTION OF HUMANTAY LAKE FULL DAY
A must do in Cusco is to visit the Humantay Lake, perfect for those who love nature. Is a great way for you to fully experience your time in Cusco! This lake is the product of the snowmelt of the mountain and the characteristic color is turquoise. As you are going on your way you will love the scenery surrounded by mountains and the snow on the top of it as you are getting closer. It reaches 4200 meters above the sea (13,780 feet). In fact, it is considered as one of the highest places to visit in our region. Here, we offer you an unforgettable experience to be the first one to reach the mountain and enjoy this beautiful landscape since we will leave before the traditional tours.
In addition to this, our guide will be with you during the tour until you reach the Humantay Lake, adapting to your rhythm, so you do not have to worry. The hiking takes around two hours, once you arrive to the lake you will be able to take wonderful pictures and enjoy its beauty. We recommend that newcomers take time to acclimatize before doing this tour.

ITINERARY
5:00 am: Breakfast at a local restaurant
7:00 am: Arrival at the parking lot – briefing
9:00 am: Visit to Humantay Lake
11:00 am: Return to transportation
12:00 pm: Lunch at the local restaurant or box lunch to take away (depending on the time of arrival at the restaurant, due to the blockade on the road to Cusco) if we take longer, we’ll have to wait about three hours to return. If there is enough time we’ll have lunch at the restaurant
15:00 pm: Arrival in Cusco, drop-off at your hotel
