Since our arrival, you could observe the imposing snow-capped Ausangate, which is the fifth highest mountain in Peru. It reaches 4867 meters above sea level, it is located 100 kilometers from Cusco approximately, and Ausangate is reached through the town of Pacchanta, where you’ll find hot springs. When you approach the snowy peak, you’ll see seven lakes, each one with different characteristics and names. In the Inca’s time this snow-capped mountain was sacred, today those who aspire to be Andean priests carry out their initiation here, immersing themselves in one of the lakes to receive the blessing of the Apu or mountain.
During the tour you will be able to see several camelids such as llamas and alpacas at the same time you will feel the presence of the Apu Ausangate in this incredible adventure!.

10:30 am: Arrival to the Ausangate snowy viewpoint

13:30 pm: Lunch in Pacchanta
14:30 pm: Bath in the hot springs of Pacchanta
16:00 pm: Return to the city
19:00 pm: Drop-off at your hotel
