About this tour

Cusco is known for its traditions, culture and customs, and the Sacred Valley of the Incas is one of its most important attractions. This tour takes you to several archaeological sites that showcase Inca culture, across the towns of Chinchero, Urubamba and Ollantaytambo. The entire Sacred Valley lies in the Andes, with beautiful scenery of rivers, mountains and farmland — this is where the Incas built their most important temples and terraces, and it was the region’s main source of food at the time.

Along the way, we’ll stop at scenic viewpoints where you can take stunning photos of the landscape. This full-day tour is a great way to learn more about Inca culture. Most visitors see the valley on traditional group tours that leave little time at each stop and no real chance to enjoy it. We offer small groups of 2 to 8 travelers and personalized service to guarantee a truly unique experience.

We’ll visit the Sacred Valley’s top sites: Chinchero, the archaeological site of Moray, the Maras Salt Mines and Ollantaytambo, spending about an hour at each to learn about our history and take photos.

Since our last stop is Ollantaytambo, you can stay there if you’re catching the train to Aguas Calientes–Machu Picchu, or ride back to Cusco with us.
