Humantay Lake

Humantay Lake tour from Cusco: turquoise glacier lagoon at the foot of the Humantay snow peak, with breakfast, lunch and guide.

Humantay Lake

Humantay Lake, turquoise at 4,200 m

At the foot of the Humantay glacier, in the Vilcabamba range, a lagoon of intense turquoise water is considered sacred by local communities. It is one of the most beautiful day hikes in Cusco and part of the famous Salkantay trek.

We pick you up very early, have breakfast in Mollepata and start the climb from Soraypampa. After enjoying the lagoon and the views of Salkantay, we return for lunch and back to Cusco in the evening.
