About this tour

This customized 6-day package is the complete experience, taking you to Cusco’s most magical natural, cultural and archaeological attractions. First, you’ll visit the Sacred Valley, where you’ll see its top highlights and learn more about our history. Next comes Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Then, Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), also known as the Mountain of Seven Colors — a natural marvel full of magical energy and stunning landscapes. Finally, Humantay Lake, a natural gem at the foot of an impressive snowcapped peak. These are the most recommended tours in Cusco if you’re planning a longer stay! Each one is rich in history and run as a private tour, for a perfect trip that shows you the very best of our region. Our expert local guide will show you traditional spots and hidden corners where you can take the best photos and immerse yourself in this unforgettable experience. This won’t be just another tour, but a once-in-a-lifetime personalized vacation to enjoy our region’s scenery, history and food.

Conventional tours usually travel in crowded buses, with the guide splitting the group to explain everything in several languages — leaving little chance to really get to know each site or enjoy the short time given for photos. Peruvian Path offers a private, customized tour in small groups of 2 to 8 people, visiting the most important archaeological and natural sites so you can truly discover and experience Inca traditions.

About this tour

Are hotels included in the package?

Yes. The package includes accommodation for the nights shown in the itinerary. Hotel upgrades are available on request — just let us know your preferences.

Can I customize the itinerary?

Absolutely. We can change the order of the days, add extra nights or include other tours such as Rainbow Mountain or Humantay Lake.

How far in advance should I book?

Machu Picchu tickets and train seats sell out, especially from May to September. We recommend booking at least 1–2 months in advance.

Yes. The itinerary starts with lower-altitude days (Cusco and the Sacred Valley) before the high-altitude hikes, so your body can acclimatize gradually.
