Ausangate (6,384 m) is the highest mountain of Cusco and the most sacred Apu of the region. At its foot, a circuit connects seven lagoons of different colors — from turquoise to deep green — in a landscape of glaciers, wetlands and alpaca herds.
It is one of the most authentic experiences in the Andes: few visitors, Quechua communities that keep their traditions and, at the end of the day, natural hot springs in Pacchanta.
