Family

Trips the whole family will remember

Traveling to Peru with children or grandparents is easier than you think. Our family tours combine the great icons — Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley — with a relaxed pace, private transport and time to enjoy markets, textiles and Andean food.

We adapt pick-up times, meals and walking distances to each family, and our guides turn every Inca wall into a story. You only have to enjoy the trip.

FAQ

Questions about Family

Can’t find what you are looking for? Write to us and a specialist will answer you personally.

Can children visit Machu Picchu?

Yes. Children of all ages can enter Machu Picchu; minors need their original passport and their own ticket, which we buy in advance.

Are there discounts for children?

Entrance tickets and trains have reduced fares for minors. Write to us with the ages and we will send you a family quote.

Is the altitude a problem for kids?

Most children adapt well. We recommend starting in the Sacred Valley, which is lower than Cusco, drinking plenty of water and avoiding intense activities the first day.
